Creating a Bot

ADD BOT

In this section we will go over how you can add a new bot to your Scavenger Account using the Bot Wizard. Login to your Dashboard and navigate to the Bots page. Once there, click on the Add Bot button at the bottom right of the screen.
This will open up the Bot Wizard where you can easily create a new bot.

CREATE BOT

BOT NAME
Use this field to name your bot.
BOT AVATAR
Choose the hero image that appears on your bot.

EXCHANGE

EXCHANGE SELECT
Select which exchange you want the bot to run on. At this time, we support multiple futures exchanges.
EXCHANGE TYPE
Select what exchange subset you are creating a key for, usually live or test net.
Live
This will use real money to trade with.
Testnet
This will use fake money to trade with, commonly referred to as paper trading.
API KEYS
Enter your keys created on the exchange here. If you need assistance in key creation click here.
VERIFICATION
This is the status screen that will test and verify your API Keys are ok to use with Scavenger Bot.

COIN PAIR

Here you will choose the coin pair that you would like the bot to trade, each scrapper can trade a single trading pair, and there is no limit to the number of bots you can create on your account.
BASE PAIR
Choose the base pair here, each exchange has different choices, this is the currency you would generally hold in your wallet and trade from and back into.
COIN PAIR
Choose your coin pair here, this the symbol or pair that you would like to trade against the Base Pair with.

STRATEGY

STRATEGY SELECT
Here you can select your trading strategy. We are actively developing new strategies to be used with Scavenger Bot.

DIRECTION

SHORT
For strategies that depend on the price of the cryptocurrency to decrease.
AUTO
For strategies that are able to automatically determine the direction.
LONG
For strategies that depend on the price of the cryptocurrency to increase.

FINISH

Clicking this will finalize the Bot Wizard process and create your new bot. You will need to manually turn your bot on afterwards. Please see Bot Controls for instructions on how to do so.
